In recent releases of Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle has provided new facilities such as Oracle Applications Manager (OAM) to offer DBAs the ability to review and manage their environment. This paper contains recommendations for DBAs who want to develop their alert flows so they can ensure the environments are healthy and available to users without the need to login to OAM on a daily basis.
